We are honored to share a limited series of pendants created in support of the monks walking across the United States for the Walk for Peace. Inspired by the Eightfold Path Dharma Wheel, each piece is a tribute to lives devoted to compassion, discipline, and peace.

We are deeply moved by the monks’ commitment, not only to this journey, which concludes February 11, but to humanity as a whole, and wanted to offer a wearable reminder of their teachings. Jewelry holds a quiet power: something you can carry with you each day, a touchstone to return to center amid the noise and pace of the modern world.

The Eightfold Path symbolizes a balanced way of living: right understanding, intention, speech, action, livelihood, effort, mindfulness, and concentration, guiding the wearer toward clarity, compassion, and inner peace. This pendant is meant to be worn long beyond the walk itself, as a daily reminder to move through the world with intention and heart.

This pendant is thoughtfully crafted with tradition and intention. Cast in solid brass, the one-inch wheel pendant is paired with a matching sterling silver chain and stamped on the back with the commemorative date, and the VK maker’s mark.

The piece is made using traditional metal casting techniques rooted in ancient practice, methods long used for devotional objects and talismans. Beginning as a wax model and transformed through time-honored sand casting, each pendant carries a connection to centuries-old metalwork traditions and the making of meaningful, sacred adornment.
